Grub Control Services In Michigan
Grub worms, which are the larvae of beetles and other bugs, can cause significant harm to your lawn and landscaping. These pests feed on the roots of your lawn, which can deprive it of essential nutrients. Moreover, grubs can attract animals like skunks and raccoons, causing further damage to your property. At Great Lakes Landcare, we provide effective solutions to both treat and prevent grubs from causing damage to your lawn.

Signs Your Lawn Has Grubs
To check if your lawn has grubs, envision a one-foot square in your grass and cut three sides of it with a knife or razor blade. Then, pull back the grass like your peeling back a sticker. If it is easy to pull up due to lack of roots, grubs could be the problem. You will also usually see white, C-shaped grub worms in the soil beneath the grass. Another indicator of grubs is birds feeding around dead patches in your lawn.
Signs to watch out for include:
-
Brown, dead patches of grass in random spots on your lawn
-
Spongy grass that is easy to pull back
-
Raccoons, moles, skunks, and birds digging in your turf
